Single-Session Sex Therapy

One session. One concern. A supportive space to talk.

Sexual concerns can feel difficult to talk about, whether on your own or in a relationship. A one-off session offers the chance to speak openly in a supportive space, without the need to commit to ongoing therapy.

In a single 90-minute session, we’ll focus on what feels most important to you, explore how it is affecting your life (and your relationship if that feels relevant), and think about some practical steps you can take. This is not about solving everything at once. It is about creating understanding, easing pressure, and opening up new possibilities.

Is this approach right for you?

This format may suit you if:

  • You want to begin talking about a sexual concern but don’t feel ready for ongoing therapy.
  • You’d value a one-off conversation with someone impartial.
  • You’ve had therapy before but would like a focused check-in.
  • Intimacy has become a source of stress or avoidance.
  • You want to explore whether longer-term sex therapy might be useful.

This session will not resolve every difficulty, but it can help reduce shame, open up communication, and give you a clearer sense of next steps.

What to expect

This 90-minute session centres on one concern. The aim is not to work through every aspect of your sexual wellbeing, but to create a supportive, structured conversation that feels safe and productive.

Step 1: Free 15-minute introductory call

A short call with you on your own, or with you and your partner if you’re attending together, to see if this format is the right fit. We’ll also talk about what you’re hoping to focus on.

Step 2: Pre-session reflections

If we go ahead, I’ll send you a few brief questions to help you reflect beforehand. This ensures we use our time well and that your concerns are clear from the start.

In the session we will:

  • Clarify the issue you want to focus on.
  • Explore how it is affecting you (and your relationship if relevant).
  • Consider what might feel possible or helpful right now.
  • Agree on a few simple, manageable steps to take away.

You’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction, some practical ideas, and a resource pack to support you afterwards.

A focused space for understanding and change

This is not a substitute for longer-term psychosexual therapy, but it can provide:

  • A safe first step in addressing a concern.
  • A neutral space to reduce pressure and open up conversation.
  • A starting point for change, or a return to therapy after a break.

Some use this session as a one-off reset. Others decide to return later. Either is fine.

How to book

  1. Arrange a free 15-minute introductory call.
  2. If it feels right, book your 90-minute session.
  3. Complete a short pre-session reflection, ideally at least 7 days before.
  4. Attend your session and leave with insights, tools, and a sense of what to try next.

If it feels useful, you’re welcome to book a follow-up session later on.

Fee

The cost for this service is £250. This includes a 90-minute session, pre-session preparation, and a tailored resource pack afterwards.

Curious, but not sure?

Sometimes just one conversation can ease the pressure. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure what’s happening, a focused session can help you pause, reflect, and begin to move forward.

If you’d like to talk it through, you’re welcome to arrange a free 15-minute call to see if this feels right for you.
